Mermaid, or Jonathan Spring, as its sometime called, is just north of Rum Island. I love this little spring with its level changes, rocks, and big, old beaver chewed cypress trees. As I drew the piece, the scale changed for me, so I added favorite Florida species, enlarging the space. It is linocut with watercolor.
