I have not personally seen a sawfish in the wild, but I am utterly fascinated by bizarre looking species that go back millions of years in their evolution, yet have remained. I was so saddened by the spinning disease that overtook them in late 2023, that I designed the piece. I used my own photographs of corals and tropical fish to create the backgrounds.
