Reduction woodcut with linocut figures. Printed in two panels on Bugra paper using an etching press then mounted on a gessoed cradled wood panel. Encaustic medium and pigment applied. Edition of 15 original mixed media mounted sets. Juniper is in the Ocala National Forest and is a gem of a spring with a crystal clear spring run. The surrounding forest protects the springs from nitrates and other pollutants, so its springs are the cleanest in Florida. Forests and springs are a continual, renewing source ofhealing and inspiration. The panels were drawn, carved and printed by hand, mounted on wood panels and clear encaustic medium applied.Encaustic protects and preserves the artwork, and it does not need to be framed as the 2” deep edges are coated with the pigmented encaustic paint.
